INTRO TO NATURAL LANGUAGE PROCESS

During this slot, you will learn about a simple Markov model using n-gram (in R) then scale up to use a RNN (LSTM) model (in Python). This talk will involve little technicalities, but mostly demonstrations on the basic principles and performance of the python code.

SURVIVAL ANALYSIS

Survival Analysis aims to predict the time until a particular event happens. In this talk,  it is the time until a customer stops wanting your product. You will learn techniques used in Survival Analysis and Machine Learning used to predict the time a customer (and their dog) will keep ordering our products. This is so called customer lifetime value.  You will also discover why outcomes of analysis of this type is arguably the most important metric in any subscription business.
